When His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrived in India he was 24 years old. Since then, he has tirelessly encouraged us all to cultivate the human values of compassion, love, and gratitude in the hope of creating a better world for everyone.

On July 6, His Holiness will celebrate his 82nd birthday by giving teachings to tens of thousands of people in Ladakh, India. The best gift I know to give him is to share a short clip from one of our conversations several years ago. I hope you will join us in sending His Holiness happy birthday greetings and wish him a long and joyful life.
