His Holiness Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama arrived in Washington D.C. today to confer the Kalachakra teachings, which will begin tomorrow, July 6th, 2011 as he turns 76.

Please join us in sending joyful birthday greetings to him on his birthday with all our prayers for a long and healthy life.

In celebration of the day we would like to share a relaxing moment we enjoyed with His Holiness as he took us on a short tour of his garden while shooting footage for the Women of Tibet series in Dharamsala, India, April 2009.
